This monthly underground supper club is inspired by the casa particular concept found in Cuba, where regular folks set up restaurants from their houses.
We will be learning all about causa. This is a cold Peruvian dish that was invented during the Peruvian Revolution as a fundraiser to help the cause (or "causa") of Peruvian independence. It consists of seasoned mashed potatoes stuffed with a variety of fillings. The beautiful thing about causa is that it is the perfect vehicle for your artistic expression.
