3 Coronas is named after the colonial title of the capital of Peru: The Thrice-Crowned City of Kings.

Pastelería: I specialize in Peruvian-style empanadas made from scratch. The crust is rich and crumbly and slightly sweet - almost like shortbread. I use real butter and locally-made, non-hydrogenated, natural lard. This is the way empanadas have been made for 100s of years in Lima…and also what makes my empanadas some of the best you’ll ever taste. I also make other traditional Peruvian baked goods and desserts that change every week.

Huarique: A huarique is a small, informal restaurant specializing in traditional comfort food. Every week, I feature a different rustic Peruvian specialty. Many of these dishes you can’t find in restaurants outside of Peru. Check my weekly menu to see what I’m making this week.
